Delete your Worth Watching account
You can use Worth Watching without an account. If you created an optional account, you can permanently delete it and its associated data at any time.
Delete inside the app
Open Preferences, find Account, choose Delete account, and confirm. This is the fastest option because you are already signed in.
Request deletion on the web
If you cannot access the app, email ndonti21@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Worth Watching account. Use the subject “Worth Watching account deletion request.” We may ask you to verify control of that email address, but we will never ask for your Google password, Apple password, or device passcode.
What deletion removes
Deletion removes your Worth Watching account, saved preferences, watchlist, active app sessions, stored sign-in-provider credential used for account management, and analytics records linked to your account identifier. Worth Watching also clears provider credential state and requests provider authorization revocation where the platform API supports it.
Timing and limited retention
Account access and active app data are removed when deletion completes. Analytics erasure and backup rotation can take up to 30 days. We may retain narrowly limited security, fraud-prevention, or legal records when required, and those records are not used to personalize the app or for advertising.
Data stored only on your device
Deleting an account does not automatically erase signed-out preferences or cached feed data stored locally on every device. You can remove those records by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
